Career & Acedemics
Patrick Bueno is an independent artist, music producer, and DJ from Austin, Texas. He began incubating his craft back in grade school through singing in the choir, taking piano lessons, and picking up the guitar. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Visualization where he learned animation, motion graphics, visual effects, and photography. Throughout his four years at Texas A&M, Patrick continued to sing, play piano, guitar, and DJ.
Patrick furthered his musical education through Berklee’s Online Music School, where he learned technical skills in audio engineering, recording, mixing, and mastering. He currently works with Okyne Media Lab as a DJ for weddings and corporate events, and had the opportunity to intern at the post-production studio, Ponysound. Patrick aspires to be a collaborative freelance artist, audio engineer, producer, and creative helping other like-minded people further their careers.

Ponysound Audio Engineering Internship - Shadowed in-house mix engineers for broadcast and radio commercials. Used Pro Tools and Soundly to work on demo projects requiring audio clean up, sweetening, noise reduction, and mixing. In charge of client services including hospitality, serving lunches, studio cleanup, and answering phones.
Okyne Medialab - MC’d and DJ’d weddings, parties, and corporate events. Created DJ/VJ videos using Adobe Premiere and After Effects. Lots of experience setting up and breaking down audio and video equipment in high stress environments to serve the client’s vision.

Viz Department Print Lab & Equipment Room Technician - Used Photoshop and Illustrator to print out high quality images of student’s work within the Visualization curriculum, as well as rented out cameras, microphones, tripods, tablets, monitors, etc.

Animation & Visual Effects - During my time at Texas A&M, I worked on many projects that required visual effects, animation, sound design, projection mapping, photography, and traditional art. Musicianship - Three years of classical piano lessons. Self-taught guitar player for eight years. Choir for ten years. Can pick up a bass guitar and harmonica. Previous experience performing with bands. Record and mixing music professionally.

Photography Forum Magazine Contests - Competed in the College and High School Photography Contest. I received both a Finalist and an Honorable Mention award for two different submissions. Both photos are published in the Best of College and High School Photography 2016 & 2017 books.
